At Parky, we hold a deep respect for nature and handle our raw materials with care.
Parky floors are carefully composed with a thin wooden top layer. 25 times less wood is required than would be used for solid wood parquet.
Our wood originates from well-managed forests and is PEFC-certified. Combined with an HDF core made from 100% recovered wood, this results in a sustainable product that is much stronger and more stable than traditional solid wood parquet.
Our Parky floors are finished with exclusively water-based wood stains, adhesives with a minimum of volatile organic compounds, and lacquer with a low concentration of solvents. The result is an excellent air quality with all Parky floors holding an A+ quality label.
We generate our own renewable energy which supplies 25% of our needs for the Parky production process and are working towards achieving a positive carbon footprint by 2040. It is our ambition to give back more to the earth than to take from it.
